Morning Prayer for Tuesday – Proverbs 3:5–6
Introduction
Tuesday often finds us deep in the rhythm of the week. The weekend feels far away, and the tasks in front of us can seem endless. Proverbs reminds us where to begin: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Tuesday morning is a good time to remember that we do not walk through the day alone.
This prayer is for those who need direction, clarity, or calm in the middle of the week’s demands. Before moving forward, take a moment to place your trust where it belongs—fully in God.
Scripture
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (NRSV)
Reflection
We like to plan our days and measure success by how well things go, but faith calls us to a different posture. Trust is not passive; it is an active choice to let God guide us even when we don’t see the full picture. Tuesday’s work, challenges, and conversations all become opportunities to practice that trust.
Morning prayer helps us slow down long enough to remember that God’s direction is better than our control. When we give the day to Him, He does what we cannot—He brings order to what feels uncertain and peace to what feels scattered.
If today feels like a maze, ask for the courage to take the next faithful step and leave the rest in God’s hands.
