Reflection
The close of one year invites reflection. We remember moments of joy and loss, success and struggle. And yet through it all, God has remained faithful. His mercy has followed us every step of the way. As we turn the page into a new year, we are reminded that His work in us is ongoing.
Morning prayer at the turning of the year is both thanksgiving and trust. It’s thanking God for the ways He has carried us, and trusting that He will continue to do so. Renewal doesn’t come from trying harder but from resting in the God who makes all things new.
Whatever this new year brings, walk into it with open hands and a hopeful heart. The same God who began a good work in you will see it through.
