Introduction

Scripture for the Day

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”— Psalm 32:7 (NRSV)

Reflection

There’s a quiet strength in knowing we are seen and shielded. The psalmist doesn’t say trouble disappears, but that God surrounds us in it. Sometimes protection looks like rescue, but more often, it looks like peace that holds when the world shakes.

As the day stretches on, fatigue can creep in, and worries often find their way back into our thoughts. This is where prayer changes everything. It recenters us in the truth that God’s peace isn’t fragile—it’s a fortress. His protection isn’t just about the body; it’s about the heart and mind too.

Take comfort in the promise that no matter where you are—at work, at home, or on the road—you are not unguarded. The One who began this day with you remains beside you still.
