Christmas Prayers of Illumination
Short Worship Prayers for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Season of Christmastide
The story of Christmas is more than a moment—it is the mystery of God made flesh, the Word dwelling among us. As we move from waiting to wonder, from Advent into the joy of Christ’s birth, we continue to listen. These short prayers of illumination are written for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the season of Christmastide, helping us open our hearts to the Word made flesh.
Use them in worship before Scripture is read, in candlelit services, in family devotions, or during the quieter days that follow Christmas morning.
